Cogeco nightmare

My parents television has been pixelated and not watchable in Sarnia, ON for almost the past month. I had called tech support last Saturday and they recommended having a technician come out to fix the lines. My parents are currently overseas visiting my grandfather and I am only here on weekends as I live two hours away in Windsor, ON. I received two calls this week stating that everything was good to go and a technician would be here Saturday. I woke up early this morning and drove 2 hours from Windsor to Sarnia so that I could be here for the technician. I checked my parents voicemail and today a message was left saying the appointment was cancelled and I drove two hours for absolutely nothing. I called Cogeco and was told there is nothing they can do. I'm then put on a hold and told a supervisor will be coming on the line. The person comes back after a long while and tells me that a supervisor can call me within 24-48 hours. I've been without television for weeks, I've driven hours to be here, and this is the service I receive? I can understand cancelling an appointment, but to do it an hour before when I stated on the phone call last week that I would be driving in from out of town to make the appointment.
