Got Cogeco at our new house December 2014. Immediately noticed slow speeds in the evening and called in.
Turns out it is congestion on the NODE and they have to split the node. This was to be done by June 2015. Well it still has not been fixed. This really puts a damper on online gaming as the latency and speed being both crap in the evening make it unplayable.
Unfortunately the only other option around here is DSL that is 6 megs down (too slow for multiple Netflix users.. and I stupidly signed a contract before my promotion ended in June so that I could avoid the hassle of switch and I was assured they would have their network fixed.
